Bear Lake, Northeast California Lakes Basin
These spectacular views of Bear Lake at
sunset and mid-day were taken during a camping trip in summer 1999.
Bear Lake is one of many lakes in the northeastern section of
California, called the Lakes Basin.
The equipment used included my standard Canon EOS
Elan camera with the Canon 17-35 mm zoom lens. I used
Kodak Royal Gold 100, and took all of the images used to create the
final image using a tripod..

This lake is in the same Bear Lake
in Panorama 4 above, taken from one end of the lake at midday.
Believe it or not, there are a fair number of people in this picture
- which you can only see if you look at the full 9000 x 3000 image!
The location for shooting Panorama 4 above can be seen where the
land protrudes into the lake on the right. Stitched using
PowerStitch.
