The attempt in the West to impose a strict set of rules about what one is allowed to think and express in academia and in the media — to the point that anyone who disobeys is discredited, demonized, intimidated and in danger of losing his or her livelihood — is just as toxic and just as reminiscent of Orwell’s diseased society.
The main facet of this PC tyranny, so perfectly predicted by George Orwell, is the inversion of good and evil — of victim and victimizer. In such a universe, radical Muslims are victimized by the West, and not the other way around. This has led to a slanted teaching of the history of Islam and its conquests, both as a justification of the distortion and as a reflection of it.
The Inversion of Good and Evil
The true nature of any evil system is to declare it’s own goodness, and anything that stands against it as evil. This trick has been used down the ages by all evil men and despots. It has been the core principle of Marxism and Islam, and is the core principle of Leftism and Progressivism (a different flavor of Marxism) today.
What amazes me is how easily this disease of the mind has been spread. Looking back, it would appear that the long-term plan of the Communist Party USA has succeeded. They HAVE separated us from our history. They HAVE separated us from our Founders. And, they HAVE separated us from our God. All through the educational system, the media, and academia, and of course then the Deep State. It took them over 100 years, but then that was the plan.
Islam has been practicing this for 1400 years. This is why the world looks kindly on Islam in spite of its everlasting evil and barbarism. It seems no matter how horrific an act by Islam, or BLM, or Antifa, or students rioting, they are given a pass by the establishment.
The primary change I would make to the title for the article below is this: I would remove the word “Radical.” Frankly, that is a bow to Political Correctness: Islam is the problem, it is not “radicals” of Islam. It is Islam that has murdered or enslaved over 360 million on 1400 years. Marxism is small potatoes at a mere 100-200 million.
