My recent trip to Vancouver Island and Butchart Gardens was a major battery drain on my camera!  Fortunately, I had 5 batteries!  I used up 2 in the gardens.  My feet and legs and body gave out before I ran out of power…  Ah, getting old.

Everywhere you look, there are amazing combinations of colors and textures!  Flowers you have never seen before, and did not know existed.

After about 12,880 steps and 3.8 miles (according to my iPhone) I could no longer take another picture, did not want to see another flower, just wanted to go lie down… 🙂
