Greek terms in algebra and being good at math disadvantages non-white people, argues the professor

Finally, the generation that was told that “everybody wins” and “nobody loses” has finally grown up and is now teaching the next generation.  The idea that we are all winners in spite of our efforts, abilities, commitments, or interests and all deserves the same accolades (you know, Nobel Peace Prizes, big salaries, fame and fortune) no matter what we do with our lives, no mater if we study hard, don’t study at all, goof off and play games all day, or work hard to accomplish something.

“On many levels, mathematics itself operates as Whiteness,” she argues with complete sincerity, according to Campus Reform. “Who gets credit for doing and developing mathematics, who is capable in mathematics, and who is seen as part of the mathematical community is generally viewed as White.”

She – the professor of apparent Mexican origin – would like us to believe that it is totally racist that math has a color – White.  Well, in that case, I would have to say, sports has a color too:  Black.

Oh, that’s racist, isn’t it?

So her reasoning is what?  That the reason math is done mostly by whites is because non-whites are discriminated against?  Here is a very interesting comment that sheds some light on her thinking:

She concludes her argument with the claim that all knowledge is “relational,” or is, in other words, relative. “Things cannot be known objectively; they must be known subjectively.”

So, knowledge is only relational and subjective.  This is a hallmark of Progressive Leftism.  There is no objective truth.  It’s only what I think it is.  It is what I say it is.  Do you get it?  Because she “sees” Math as “white” then it is.  Because she gets to define reality.  This is the underlying basis for all irrational thought systems, which certainly includes the left in all of its manifestations today.  Reality is defined by what they want it to be for their benefit.  They cannot and WILL NOT deal with reality.

This leads to all the various forms of delusion and insanity we see so often today in the political arena.  What once was an arena for rational discussion and debate is now a wasteland of delusion and nonsense.

Perhaps at this point it might be appropriate to point out a historical fact (you know, an “objective” fact?):  Western civilization – including all we take for granted, such as technology and science, freedoms as in the Bill of Rights, focus on equality of all (equality of opportunity, not equality of results), that all came from a mostly “white” civilization based on Christianity.  Shocking.  But NOT subjective, and NOT relational, but a FACT in OBJECTIVE REALITY.

My experience over the last 10-15 years has shown me that not being grounded in Jesus Christ – the Way, the Truth, and the Light of the World, means you are easily drawn into this delusion of our post-modern and post-Christian and post-scientific world we live in.
