Israel warned former US President Barack Obama that Iran wouldn’t honor the nuclear arms deal he brokered with the Islamic Republic. The ayatollahs and their elected puppets went through the motions, but never truly fulfilled the stipulations of the agreement. The West, fearful of escalating tensions, turned a blind eye to numerous violations.

Does it make you proud?  We were fooled by the Iranians.  We were fooled by the North Koreans.  We are being fooled by the Islamists.  We are being fooled by the globalists.  We are being fooled by the leftists.

What is wrong with the west, that it allows itself to be fooled?  Over and over?  With no end of tom-foolery in sight?

It wasn’t always so.  There was a time when the West was very hard to fool.  The West was a center of science and investigation, truth seeking, deep analysis.  The lies of our enemies were so very easy to discern and discard, to repudiate in public.  And the public was properly trained to seek truth, and was able – not perfectly, but significantly better than today – to detect truth from lies.

What changed?

My answer is simple: the West no longer clings to “old fashioned” ideas of good and evil, of the superiority of good over evil.  Our society, instead, has turned everything on its head:  what was once evil is now good.  What was once good is now evil.  Our nation has many “ticklish ears” looking for someone saying what they want to hear.

Truth is dammed today in our culture.  Science suffers.  We now call scientific anything that is politically correct.  We even think that if you can get a majority of people – so-called “scientists” – to agree on anything (politically correct) – than you have “proved” it is true.  The ultimate in post-scientific thinking.  Al Gore comes ot mind….

This all hinges on what the progressives (slow communism) have been working on since the early 1900’s:  separating the American People from their founders, their beliefs in God, and their history.  This is a requirement for them to enslave a people.  Their job is essentially complete:  America hangs in the balance, with close to a majority totally in the camp of the marxists.  And still benefitting from the fruits of free enterprise, which they mistakenly think they are due, and will continue under progressive utopian totalitarianism.

In my opinion, it is loss of faith.  It is turning away from the God who blessed America, who gave it Freedom.  Jesus is for Freedom.  Satan is for Totalitarianism.  It’s that simple.  And Jesus is the Way (how to live), the Truth (the source of truth, the holder of the very concept of truth), and Life (eternal life is His life in us).  And Satan?  He is the father of lies, and of death.  But thankfully, Jesus took away the power of death for believers (but not for unbelievers, who are still subject to Satan).

America, turn back to God.  He can still rescue us, and restore us so we cannot be so easily fooled by the satanic lies of our enemies!
