The Grand Tetons National Park is a fabulous place for a nature photographer. Especially in the fall, when you have the combination of fall colors and the craggy mountains in the background. It is also a time of sudden storms.
Most of my time in the Grand Tetons was around Jackson Lake. However, I wanted to go to Jenny Lake, which is south and slightly west of Jackson Lake. It was a blustery day, and it was raining by the time we got to Jenny Lake.
On the road to Jenny Lake, the mountain views are truly staggering in their beauty. This scene is merely one of many. The sun had gone behind the clouds of the approaching storm, so the foreground is dark and foreboding. But the sun was still shining on the mountain, and it glowed! Ah, what a treasure!
