Yosemite National Park
The first 15 photographs of Yosemite was taken on a camping
trip in May of 1994. There was a lot of water flowing over the
water falls, and snow in the mountains. Lots of clouds made it
difficult to get the lighting I wanted, but the results were more
than pleasing. The campground we stayed at no longer exists:
it was flooded out and is not going to be rebuilt. I captured
these 1994 photos with my Canon Elan using Kodak Ektar 25 film.
My next trip to Yosemite in August 1999 we visited
the location of the campground to take pictures of Half Dome at
sunset. It was very strange being there in the same location,
but in grassy fields rather than camp grounds! These images
start with Half-Dome Sunset Reflection.
