Twin Lakes is near Bridgeport, CA, tucked next to the steep mountain ranges of the Sierra Nevadas. The lakes are great for fishing and camping, and the view of these stark and beautiful peaks is simply stunning! This photo is a stitch of 6 images captured on KODAK GOLD Super 200 Gen 4 film in late spring 2000, using my Canon Elan camera and a 70-200 mm zoom lens.
The peaks separate Twin Lakes from Yosemite National Park, which is just to the southwest of the lakes. Sunset is a wonderful time for photos, and I was fortunate to arrive at just the right time for these photos.
