Getting up early to take photos gets harder every day, as I grow older. But Grand Tetons National Park is one of the places that doing so is well worth it.

The sun is beginning to peek through the clouds on the eastern horizon, showing up as stripes of light on the mountain. Fall colors on the ground in the foreground heighten the contrast with the early morning light.
