Jenny Lake is a half-hour drive from Jackson Lake, probably the most well-known lake in Grand Teton National Park. Along the way, you will be treated to many fabulous views of sharp peaked mountains with many different colorations. Fall is one of the best times to visit the part, both for the fall color and to avoid the summertime rush.
The cloudburst viewed here was quite an experience! I am always somewhat afraid to take photos in the rain. Here, I am balancing an umbrella with my arm while using both hands on the camera. Not all the photos I took came out well, as I was too distracted by the rain and the umbrella to properly adjust the camera. This photo is actually a 2-in-1 panorama, stitched by Photoshop and processed in Luminar.
